Placement

The SPJS offers a unique placement-cum-reward facility to the best of its students. Subject to vacancy and based on overall performance during the course and internship, SPJS graduates may be offered positions on regular scale at The Statesman. Specialised placement assistance will also be offered.
SPJS alumni have been employed by The Statesman and other reputed publications/organisations including Pioneer, the Press Trust of India, The Times of India, Deccan Chronicle, Deccan Herald, The Hindu, The New Indian Express, The Telegraph, The Quint, LinkedIn, Moneywise Media, HSBC, SBI, Thompson Digital, Force magazine and Cenveo Publisher Services among others.
SPJS has a distinguished faculty headed by Mr Subrata Nag Choudhury, a veteran journalist. 
The fourteenth batch of students graduating in May 2022 is likely to be similarly placed.
